Dear Fediverse, I need your help: I am using a #Mac 10.11.6 using El Capitan (latest version usable) and 6 hours ago, #Firefox disabled all my extensions, with no way to retrieve them. I am unable to install the ESR version because my #Macbook is too old, and it seems no way of overriding this #FF decision? So basically byebye #adblockers, #repairability etc

Conclusion:
The results of the comparison aren't as clear in 2025.
Vivaldi, Opera and Firefox are top of the list, with Edge and Brave right behind them.
Chrome and Safari, on the other hand, are the most basic and least customisable options.
The "worst" browsers actually have the highest market shares, probably because they're already preinstalled on iOS and Android.
