Monday #metalmusic on #electricguitar! This time my own stuff. Not too complicated, but fun to play.
Not sure what's the best way to arrange 3 videos in one vertical frame when one of them starts late... I should have probably recorded all parts from the beginning of the song.
This time I'm ruining "dat riff" from Woven Web. At least I'm not doomscrolling!

Technically, these are only the first 4 bars where in there are no drums in the recordings. The next 4 bars are... difficult because they are shifted forward by 16th note. I'll try to make some progress on it in coming days, but it feels like re-learning the pattern from scratch so far.
Current status: learning “Plini - Kind”

Ever wondered where our band name Beyond The Pale comes from? Our very own Frank Van Boven is currently exploring the historic "Pale" - the medieval boundary around Dublin that separated English rule from Irish territory 
. Anyone outside these fortified boundaries was considered "beyond the pale": Wild, uncivilized, and dangerous. Pretty metal, right? 
Fun fact: The term "beyond the pale" became a perfect fit for our music: Breaking boundaries and defying conventions, just like those rebellious Irish who lived outside the English stronghold
