I can't migrate posts from my previous account, which means I'm starting a new thread ✨

I'm currently learning godot, pixel art, and anything game dev related.

ps: if someone knows how to avoid blurry images when uploading to mastodon, lemme know!

@adrianmg sweeet! Is this is a big leap from typical UI dev?

On the blurry image subject, I wondered the same. My meta image showed up blurry so I can only assume either mastodon has some aggressive compression going on or there’s image file size limits at the server level? 🤔

@kejk Hard to say! I've been going back and forth, learning some basics in the past. I can tell you GDScript is very accessible if you can read Python.

The node system is similar to the idea of having "components" in React. Refreshing some linear algebra is fun too.

@adrianmg haha nice. Haven’t thought about Algebra for about 20 years now, but, it might be good to try.

I’ve never written python but I’m comfortable with React/Swift etc so although not the same, probably something I could pick up over time. Intriguing 🧐!
