@lecrivain_sf Après #MageiaLinux avec qui nous partegerons un stand le weekend prochain, voici qu'il est question de Debian Facile avec qui nous avons partager notre boite à lettres du 249 rue Vendôme pendant quelques temps. Ça fait plaisir de voir le travail de nos partenaires présenté avec sérieux et bienveillance.
#linuxmint et #ubuntu , qu'on nous demande beaucoup en install party, ont été chroniqués aussi.
Et tout ça sur une instance #peertube. C'est impeccable !

After I've upgraded from to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, I encountered the error: "The SUID sandbox helper binary was found, but is not configured correctly"

I don't know how fix it, that happens every upgrade the #Ubuntu #AppArmor sucks!
And some AppImage, they don't works, I have to use the option "--no-sandbox" and there are others problems related to that as usual. #linux🫠

So on a whim I booted my work Windows PC to #Linux #LinuxMint on with a live USB boot session to test Teams + my Jabra (because on #Ubuntu it stopped working...because).

I like Gnome. I like Ubuntu. But there's something there that's not working. It may be Snaps??

Anyway. Time to distrojump.

In other personal news, after feeling increasingly alienated by #Apple's slow & steady #enshitification, I fired up an #Ubuntu desktop using a tricked up Pi 5, just to see how viable the Linux lifestyle could be. It's been lots of highs & lows; documention is extensive, but large swathes of it is outdated, and forum support has been sadly dismissive- the answers I got were clipped & confusing. But then, so were my first questions, I suppose..

We press on; and there are always better forums, je?
