David JONESSome of the middle steps.The bathroom lino is neither like linocutting lino, nor like the japanese vinyl i like to use. It's more spongy and quite thin.With the design fully cut-out it is ready to cast in a form screwed through the lino onto OSB behind. Kasey Smith :verified:First iteration of Girl with a Red Hat. I'm taking a slightly different tactic with Vermeer's portraits vs his genre paintings. The next iteration will involve pinning the pearl grid to the final wood panel. But instead of stopping there, I'm going to fill in and deconstruct the grid so the image is softer and more organic. More painterly, less computer generated.
