Call for ideas for an online design sprint we are currently running!

Do you have in mind a product or service that was socially unacceptable or taboo that became vastly accepted later on?

Do you remember the last time your opinion of a service or product radically changed, and why? Something you found absolutely ridiculous / ugly / useless and that you ended up liking / buying / using?

@mcpaccard Smartphones. And responsive websites. But I had the same attitude with dumb phones too.

@im yeah, I remember my uncle making fun of people with dumb phones back in the day.

@mcpaccard It may not be what you are looking for, but the consumption of coffee has evolved so that what was once considered pretentious is now common, like cafe latté. This may be more so in countries like Australia than France.

@mcpaccard It is an interesting one. An illegal substance that becomes legal and the social stigma is different.

Also the people selling it start referring to it as THC and CBD as opposed to all the slang terminology used when buying it from a guy on a street corner.

@mcpaccard Maybe not a topic you want to cover on a design sprint though. 🤷‍♂️

@mcpaccard Les applications de rencontre peut-être, c'était un peu tabou au début et maintenant ça ne fait plus sourire personne quand on dit que l'on a rencontré son/sa chérie par ce biais.
